WooCommerce Loyalty Plugin with Klaviyo Integration
kind loyalty is a hosted WooCommerce loyalty program with a thin plugin connector that sends seven distinct Klaviyo metrics, not one event you have to filter. Points, campaigns and expiry run off your WordPress install, so Klaviyo events do not depend on WP-Cron. Free up to 200 orders a month, no credit card.
How the plugin connects WooCommerce to Klaviyo
WordPress plugin
Forwards each completed order and renders the customer widget. Nothing else runs here.
kind loyalty
Calculates points, runs campaigns and expiry, and builds the seven Klaviyo events from the ledger.
Klaviyo
Receives the event and the updated profile properties, ready to trigger a flow.
Because the loyalty logic sits off WordPress, Klaviyo events do not depend on WP-Cron firing. A quiet store behaves exactly like a busy one, and a WordPress or WooCommerce update cannot change how a point is calculated, because that calculation is not running in the codebase the update touches.
How the hosted model worksSeven Klaviyo metrics, not one event with a reason property
| Metric | Fires when | Flow it powers |
|---|---|---|
| Points Earned | An order completes and points are credited. | Confirm the balance right after a purchase, while the order is still on their mind. |
| Points Redeemed | A customer converts points into a coupon. | Send the coupon code and its restrictions, then remind them before it expires. |
| Points Revoked | An order is refunded and the points it earned are taken back. | Explain the adjustment before the customer notices it themselves and writes in. |
| Points Expired | Points pass their expiry date and leave the balance. | Close the loop on a lapse, or trigger a win-back for customers who let a balance go. |
| Reward Unlocked | A balance first reaches a redeemable reward. | The highest-intent moment in the program: they have something to spend, right now. |
| Points Milestone | A balance crosses a threshold you configure. | Nudge customers who are close to a reward but not there yet. |
| Program Joined | A customer joins the loyalty program. | Welcome sequence, explain the earn rate, deliver the signup bonus. |
The common alternative sends a single event, often called Points Updated, carrying a reason property. Building any one flow means adding a trigger split on that property and a conditional filter before you write anything. With seven distinct metrics, the trigger is the filter: pick Points Redeemed from the dropdown and the flow can only ever run on a redemption.
The full reference: seven events, six properties, three flow recipesSix properties, and the segment each one unlocks
- Points Balance
- Current redeemable balance, updated on every ledger entry.
- Lifetime Points
- Everything ever earned, never decreases. Useful for segmenting your best customers.
- Points Expiring Soon
- Points scheduled to expire inside the coming window.
- Next Reward At
- Points still needed to unlock the next reward.
- Last Activity Date
- The date the rolling expiry clock counts from.
- Loyalty Member
- Whether the profile has joined the program. Segment members against non-members.
Properties update on every ledger entry, so a segment built on them never needs a manual sync.

Connect Klaviyo and send your first event
- 01Create an account. No credit card.
- 02Install the WooCommerce connector plugin and activate it.
- 03Paste your Klaviyo private API key into the plugin settings.
- 04Place a test order on your store.
- 05Open Klaviyo’s activity feed and find the Points Earned event from that order.
- 06Build one flow triggered on Points Earned, or on any of the other six metrics.
The account, the API key and the test order take a couple of minutes each. Seeing the event land in Klaviyo is instant once the order completes.
Turn loyalty segments into Meta and Google audiences
Klaviyo segments built on the loyalty profile properties sync natively into Meta and Google Ads. Target customers who already have enough points for a reward, no extra development required.
The constraints, stated honestly
- Meta requires at least 100 profiles in a segment before it will build an audience.
- Only profiles matched to an existing Meta or Google account sync, so the audience is always smaller than the segment.
- Google requires Customer Match eligibility on your ad account.
What this plugin does not do
If tiered VIP programs or referrals decide your purchase, another tool fits better, and it is cheaper to know that now.
- No VIP tiers
- No referral program
- No points for reviews
- No birthday rewards
- WooCommerce only for now
- Monthly billing only
Every feature on every plan. Only order volume differs.

Going over your plan limit never stops points from accruing. We warn you, we do not break your program.

Is kind loyalty a WooCommerce plugin?
Not in the traditional sense. It ships a thin WooCommerce connector plugin that forwards orders and renders the customer widget, but the loyalty program itself, points, campaigns, expiry and Klaviyo delivery, runs on kind loyalty infrastructure rather than inside your WordPress install.
Which Klaviyo events does the WooCommerce loyalty plugin send?
Seven: Points Earned, Points Redeemed, Points Revoked, Points Expired, Reward Unlocked, Points Milestone, and Program Joined. Each is a distinct Klaviyo metric rather than a single event with a reason property.
Do I need trigger splits in my Klaviyo flows?
No. Each metric is its own flow trigger, so building a flow is choosing the metric from the trigger dropdown. The common alternative sends one event with a reason property, which means adding a trigger split and a conditional filter to every flow before you write anything.
What happens to Klaviyo events when a WooCommerce order is refunded?
A Points Revoked event fires for the points that order earned, recorded as a new ledger entry rather than a deletion. You can trigger a flow on it to explain the adjustment before the customer writes in about it.
Does the Klaviyo integration still work if WP-Cron is broken?
Yes. Event delivery runs on kind loyalty infrastructure, not on WP-Cron. The WooCommerce plugin only forwards the order; everything scheduled after that, including expiry, executes on our servers regardless of whether WP-Cron ever fires on yours.
Can I use WooCommerce loyalty data for Meta or Google ads?
Yes, through Klaviyo. Segments built on the loyalty profile properties sync natively into Meta and Google Ads audiences, so you can target customers who already have enough points for a reward. Meta requires 100+ profiles per segment and only ad-account-matched profiles sync; Google requires Customer Match eligibility.
